COMPANY AND PHOTO USAGE INFORMATION
ModelTeenz provides models and actors (hereafter referred generally to as "talent") who are children and young adults (from about 8 to 18 years old) with professional photography services. Sometimes this is on a "TFP" (Time in exchange for Photos) or a "TFCD" (Time in exchange for a CD of the images from the photo shoot), while other times a model or client pays our photographer to take the photos, provide locations and set up materials, styling, wardrobe, and other arrangements to make the photo shoot possible.
If the shoot is TFP or TFCD, we own all rights to the images. Please note that we recuperate the expenses outlayed for such a photo shoot by making the photos from the talent's photo shoot available for sale to the general public, for stock photography, commercial use, and/or graphic design source material. Most talent photo shoots of this type will have all of the usable images available on a photo CD and/or other photo-related products.
If you are talent and do a TFP or TFCD shoot with us, you should be aware that your images will appear on this website, and/or will be used to promote our style of photography and services, and/or be available for sale to stock photo companies, web designers, and the general public who enjoys artistic and fashion photography featuring the talent with whom we work.
If you are talent or a company that pays us to generate photographs for commercial use, we share the copyright. The talent or company is allowed to use the images as necessary for a limited time, usually two years, with an option to pay more to ModelTeenz to extend the usage agreement for up to another two years. After that the images are the property of ModelTeenz.
We also receive casting information and breakdowns for local and regional modeling and acting work. If the talent makes an agreement with us to solicit such work on their behalf, we will submit resumes, head shots, comp cards, and/or client-specific photos in order to obtain auditions or consideration for such work for the talent. Should the talent book such work as a result of our efforts, we receive a 20% commission based on the talent's gross wage for that work.
ModelTeenz is in the business to be profitable. We do invest in promising talent both from our region and outside of our region if we believe that the market is looking for someone of that particular look, style, and/or specific ability. In such a case we would do a TFP or TFCD shoot with them, and help them to build a comp card, head shot, and/or resume, but normally we offer our services for hire. We offer reasonable rates for photo sittings, head shots, commercial work, and full model protfolios. Please do check out our photography services rate page for more information on these options.
PRIVACY AND OTHER IMPORTANT POLICIES
We have a strong privacy policy. Any personal information supplied to ModelTeenz by talent, the parent of talent, a client and/or a company is kept confidential and not released to any other party without permission. General information necessary for booking work or for submitting talent for consideration of work or soliciting an audition for such work, is provided to legitimate companies and agents of the same which are part of the casting and breakdown services and lists.
Talent that are not adults (by definition, those under 18 years of age) must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian during any work that they do. This rule extends also to any contracted work that the talent does that is a result of a booking or audition that we have facilitated. The talent's adult parent or guardian has the right to refuse, on the talent's behalf, to have the talent perform any modeling or acting work that might, in their opinion, be unsafe or inappropriate for the talent. In this regard, for work that talent does with ModelTeenz, it shall be a cooperative agreement between the photographer, any associated staff, the talent and the talent's parent of legal guardian: if one party objects to the planned photography, setting, location, pose or costume, it shall not be used.
All talent featured on ModelTeenz have had model release forms completed and signed, granting ModelTeenz the rights to all images, and thus the ability to feature those images in a public form (e.g. the Internet) and to be used without restriction and as desired by ModelTeenz. However, it is good business practice for any presentation to be acceptable to all parties, and thus ModelTeenz actively solicits and seeks approval from the talent (of if the talent is under 18 years of age, the parent or legal guardian for the talent) for any postings or photo usage it places on its website, or in any other public forum. Talent is therefore featured with the implicit consent of the talent and/or parent or legal guardian.
ModelTeenz d/b/a RWE Productions is a small business with sales tax and trade name license in the State of Connecticut. It provides talent management and photographic services to clients and talent in the continental United States of America.
