What are the specific terms and limitations for a purchase of digital images or products from ModelTeenz?

Permission is given to the individual and/or company to which the sale is made to use any photographs, images, artwork, or materials sold as part of this transaction ONLY for his/her/their personal use and/or entertainment. All photographs, images, artwork, or materials sold as part of this transaction are copyrighted by Richard Emerich d/b/a RWE Productions and/or ModelTeenz and/or PhotoSportz, and may not be reproduced, altered, modified, or enhanced by computer or mechanical imaging or processes, nor may be used, sold, posted on the Internet in any manner (such as, but not limited to, newsgroups, or used as images on any website or any computer server system) or otherwise used and/or distributed without the express written permission of Richard Emerich. All rights reserved. Note that removing, defacing, and/or obscuring any part of copyright information is a felony under US Title 17 and is illegal under associated international laws.

What options are there for stock photography usage?

Clients wishing to purchase photos for commercial or stock photography usage must first purchase photo DVD product(s) in order to review the entire catalog available for the respective model(s). Once the client has chosen images, a fee for their use is negotiated based on (but not limited to): the type of media; length of use; circulation numbers for the product; and number of images to be used. Raw images are provided to the client along with a limited copyright usage statement for legal documentation and authorization for use of our copyrighted material. (Optionally, we provide PhotoShop retouching services for a reasonable, hourly rate in the client does not wish to retouch and make images camera-ready themselves.) The cost for the purchase of any photo DVDs is subtracted from the final cost for the chosen image use.

Do you offer discounts for large purchases?

Can I still purchase your products if I don't have a credit card?

For those customers that do not have a credit or debit card, we offer our products for purchase via PayPal and via mail order. Please send an email to ModelTeenz to request information on how to order by PayPal or mail.

Is there a charge for shipping my order?

Effective Sunday, 1 November 2009, there is no longer a charge for standard shipping: Priority Mail for addresses within the USA, or International First Class Mail for addresses outside of the USA.

We now also offer Express Mail (overnight) shipping for USA orders for a flat rate of $40.00, and Federal Express (overnight) shipping for international delivery for a flat rate of $80.00. If you would like to opt for overnight shipping, please contact us by email before ordering.

Note that orders ship only once your credit card purchase has been authorized by our transacation provider.

What are the size of the images on a digital media product?

Digital images for portfolios made available after the start of 2004 are generally 8x12 at 72dpi (approximately 580x870 pixels). For images in portfolios made available after May 2006, the size is generally 8x12 at 96dpi (approximately 830x1230 pixels). Images are able to be viewed using common image-viewing software on either PC or Mac platforms.

Images on digital media available for purchase are imprinted with a small copyright logo at the bottom corner so as not to ruin the artistic composition of the image, while at the same time protecting it as copyrighted material.

What images are on a digital media product?

A model's portfolio on digital media usually consists of one (or more) photo shoot sessions featuring that model alone, or that model alone and some photos of the model posed with other models, where the model poses for fashion, sports, editorial and/or artistic photography. A description of each model's portfolio is listed on the secure credit card page, under the line item for each product.

The images on digital media are raw images, without any re-touching in PhotoShop, re-sized to the specifications listed above, and imprinted with our copyright logo.

How long does it take for delivery of my order? When is my order shipped to me?

If you place your order by credit card, your order is processed only after your transaction is approved by our authorization company, and the fund transfer is completed. While the site emails an automatic order summary to you, this is not a confirmation that your order has been fulfilled and shipped.

Depending on when your order is placed, order fulfillment may take from one to five business days. (Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00AM to 4:00PM EST; processing does not occur on Sundays or federal holidays.) Once your funds have been transferred, orders usually are processed and shipped within two business days. Priority Mail normally delivers within 2-3 business days to addresses within the continental USA, and 3-4 days for Hawaii, Alaska and and a bit longer for USA territories. Express Mail (USA addresses only) or FedEx (for international orders) normally delivers by the next business day afternoon, unless you are located in a special service area, in which case it may not be delivered until the second or third business day.

The staff routinely travels on photo shoot trips of from 4 to 14 days. During this time orders are accepted and processed remotely (assuming we have Internet access), but are fulfilled upon our return to the office.

Our order system will send a status email to you whenever your order status changes, so it is important to enter a correct, viable email address during the online order process. The most common statuses are:

  • "Order Received": Your order was successfully placed via our online order page, and is waiting to be processed.
  • "Order in Fulfillment": Your credit card transaction has been processed and approval for the transfer of funds for your purchase is pending. Once the transaction has been approved (it usually takes 1 to 4 days) your order is created, packaged and made ready for shipment.
  • "Order Shipped": Your order is complete and will be shipped on the date indicated. The type of shipping is also indicated. If your order is to be delivered to an address in the USA, you will receive a separate email from the USPS.com website with your tracking number and shipping status. If your order is to be shipped by FedEx to an international address (address outside of the USA) our email notification will include your tracking number.
  • "Order Delivered": Your order has been sent to you as a download. When you receive this notification it means that all files for the download have been sent to you.
  • "Order on Hold-Please Contact Us": There was a question or problem with regard to your order; please call or email to us upon receipt of this notification.
  • "Order Cancelled": Your order was cancelled because your credit card transaction was declined. We normally send a follow-up email to you whe this happens and provide options for re-ordering. Cancelled orders can not be re-submitted; you must re-do your order from the beginning on our secure order page.

Speaking of order status... If at any time you wish to check on the status of your order, please send an email to ModelTeenz to inquire about your order status. You can also check online by going to the Purchase Page and scrolling down to the Shopper's Menu and click on "Track My Order." For inquiries by email, Please reference your invoice number from the automatic order confirmation email sent from our secure credit card website, or if you ordered by mail, provide your name and mailing address so we may cross-reference your order.

Do you provide a download option for any of your digital media products?

As of 27 September 2010, we offer downloads of photo portfolios ONLY to those customers who live outside of the USA or its territories. In order to request your order be delivered as a download, please specify "DOWNLOAD REQUESTED" in the "5. Special Instructions" section on our secure, online order page when checking out. Again, this option is available ONLY to international customers in place of international first class mail delivery of portfolios on data DVD; if "DOWNLOAD REQUESTED" is not entered when checking out, the order will be delivered by international first class mail by default. Note! Because of the long time to upload data (between 2 and 8 hours per photo portfolio disc) your order may be delivered over a few days. When the final download is completed, you'll receive an automatic email from our shopping cart provider with a "Order Delivered" status.
